1.The chemical composition of the wear resistant layer of excellent wear resistant alloy has carbon content of 4~5% and chromium content of up to 25~30%. The volume fraction of Cr7C3 carbides in the metallographic structure reaches more than 50%. The macroscopic hardness is HRC56~62, and the hardness of cr carbide is HV1400~1800.Because the carbide is distributed vertically in the direction of wear, the wear resistance is more than doubled even when compared with the cast alloy with the same composition and hardness.Compared with several typical materials, the wear resistance is as follows :(1) low carbon steel;20~25:1(2) with cast high chromium cast iron;1.5 ~ 2.5:1

alloy heat resistant steel plate (15CrMo, 12Cr1MOV, etc.) substrate is recommended to be used at no higher than 540ºC;Heat resistant stainless steel substrates are recommended for use at temperatures not higher than 800ºC.
